Chess Sets

This chess set combines our beautiful Elite Staunton chess pieces and dual profile solid rosewood chess board, a perfect match of divine quality and style. The Elite Staunton Chessmen are a stunning example of the classic Staunton design. Every curve is in perfect proportion and every line has it’s purpose. These chess pieces have been made without compromise from graded ebony and boxwood, they are double weighted, felted and polished to a finish that is defect free. Each set comes with four queens. They sit perfectly on the solid rosewood dual profile chess board which has been crafted from beautiful graded rosewood. The deep reddish tones of the rosewood are the perfect back drop to the contrasting Elite chess pieces. The chess board is double sided with a minor variation in style on each side. The side with the recessed edge around the playing area shows just how thick the solid rosewood squares actually are. There are no wafer thin veneers present on this board, just pure solid rosewood and maple.
