This fourteen inch wooden chess set probably represents our best value set to date. The most striking aspect is the set of Staunton chess pieces which although non-weighted are outstanding quality for a set of this price. The frame of the cabinet is made from white wood which is light in both colour and weight. The playing area is made up of sheesham and maple wood and is polished but not lacquered. A superb quality set, hand crafted in India and brought to you at a price to rival the cheap Chinese sets but a level of quality that far exceeds them.
